Following the great success of our mothers group Alhamdulillah, we are pleased to announce the launch of “Little Hands – Babies, Toddlers and DADs Group” starting Saturday 11th October 2014 from 1.45pm to 3.15pm, InshaAllah.

Many fathers in our community have expressed an interest in attending these kinds of groups with their babies and toddlers, in order to strengthen their bond with their young ones in a safe and friendly environment, and to enjoy similar activities as the mothers have been able to since their group began in 2012!

As a Masjid, it is also an ideal opportunity for us to encourage responsible fatherhood and to help foster relationships and a good understanding of the role of parents in the lives of their children, with the aim to build stronger family units InshaAllah.

We are working in association with Croydon Children and Families Partnership (CCF Partnership) to provide this service, as we continue to listen to and meet the demands of our community, Alhamdulillah.

Little Hands DADs group will take place every first Saturday of the month between 1.45pm and 3.15pm. This is a pay to attend group, though it is very affordable – £1.50 per child plus 50 pence per dad (per session), and all proceeds will go towards the daily running of the Masjid and the group.

Benefits of joining Little Hands DADs group:

• A fun and safe environment for Dads to build a bond with their babies and toddlers.
• Get access to resources such as speech therapy, behaviour therapy, nursery funding for 2 year olds and more.
• Activities include puzzles, toys, reading, numbers, colours.
• All proceed go towards running of our Masjid and the group

Fathers will need to accompany their children throughout the duration of the session, and you must register to attend – please come to the group for registration.
