Alhamdulillah, we are proud to share a fantastic achievement from our community as Croydon ICT joined forces with Alhidaya Croydon Masjid (Thornton Heath Pond) to compete as one united team — and by the permission of Allah, they were crowned champions of the London Masjid Cup.
This victory is a powerful example of what can be achieved when communities come together with unity, brotherhood and a shared purpose.

The collaboration between the two masjids brought together brothers from across Croydon, forming a strong and determined team. Their success on the pitch reflects not just skill, but teamwork, discipline and mutual support.
Community Support
The journey to victory was made even more special by the support behind the team. The event was actively promoted through the youth programme group chat, helping to bring awareness and encouragement from the wider community.
On the day, a number of parents, brothers and supporters came down to watch, cheer and stand behind the team — creating a lively and uplifting atmosphere.
