Since opening in 2009, Croydon Islamic Community Trust (CICT) has remained committed to meeting the needs of our growing and diverse community. Located in the heart of Croydon, CICT is a place of regular daily prayers, a center for social and spiritual development, and a beacon of guidance for new Muslims seeking to learn and practice their faith according to authentic Islamic teachings.

Our services have evolved to support the community’s spiritual and educational growth, offering a wide range of programs tailored to people of all ages and backgrounds. Our initiatives include Islamic Studies, an Arabic and Holy Qur’an Institute for adults and children, lectures, counseling, training, and a variety of recreational and educational trips. These services reflect our vision to create a community-centered masjid that serves not only as a place of prayer but also as a hub for learning, connection, and personal development.

Youth Initiative – Young Companions

With a significant youth population in Croydon, our Young Companions program plays an essential role in nurturing the next generation. This initiative provides young people with the guidance and support they need to become future leaders, while also helping to reduce anti-social behavior. Our Holy Qur’an School further supports the education of our youth, ensuring they grow with a deep understanding of Islamic values and correct teachings.

Community Improvement and Capacity Building

CICT is dedicated to building individual capacity within the Croydon community for both Muslims and non-Muslims. Our work in this area has been recognised by Croydon Council and other national organisations, who have commended and collaborated with us on initiatives that benefit the wider community.
